The Falling Moss Villa | Downtown Orlando Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Orlando. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy for us to settle in and feel at home right away. The neighborhood is truly charming — quiet, residential, and absolutely beautiful. It felt very safe and peaceful, which was especially important for us as a family. One of our favorite parts was the patio. It’s the perfect space to relax and also ideal for kids or even pets to play safely. It really adds so much value to the home and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and we would definitely choose it again on a future trip. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay. In addition to the description on the website, a few other elements we enjoyed were a cool little corner store about half a block away. The neighborhood is very walkable, with a big lake to walk around just down the road. Lastly, While the backyard is not fully enclosed, there is fence on all three sides so we were able to play with our dog back there without fear of him drifting into the neighbor’s yard. While the house is on a larger neighborhood road, I was never bothered by traffic noise.

You can just tell when a host cares about the quality of their guest experiences -- a welcome gift, nice coffee set up, spotless house, all the little extra touches. Yoshie is a great host, accommodated our stay at the last minute, and was helpful throughout. Comfortable, clean, and quiet house. Close to the Mills Market and downtown. Great stay, highly recommended.

Really wonderful neighborhood and about a $10 uber ride to the places that I needed to go downtown. I did run into an issue with the property, and they were very responsive.

A good and comfy place, with high quality linen, towels and such. Amazing hosts, that were very flexible in order to attend our requests, as well as going above and beyond with surprise gifts and complimentary stuff. Showers could be better, especially on the suite (challenging for tall guests). Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely be happy to come back.

Really clean and nice place close to everything

Nice retreat in a residential area, great walkable neighborhood/lake a block away. Downtown and restaurants/retail only a short drive away, easy access to highway/toll road network for things farther away. Interior is modern and recently renovated, all the extras needed for sleep, bath, laundry provided, and basic utensils, cookware, staples for meal prep. Would stay again.

The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood of Orlando with beautiful homes and a 1 mile walkable trail around a beautiful lake just walking distance from the home as well as a corner café for breakfast lunch and dinner just a few steps away! The home is on the smaller side for six adults. The owner’s suite is a great size with king size bed the two other bedrooms are small but functional. It is an older home, so there are no outlets in the secondary bathroom. It has a wonderful backyard, which is not fenced, but there is a courtyard with outdoor lighting with good seating, and great ambience. The host was extremely helpful and very accommodating with a caring attitude. Would stay there again! ☺️
